The piano has cemented itself in history as one of the most well-known instruments, and for good reason; its enormous pitch and dynamic range makes it uniquely flexible, capable of a vast range of styles and applications. The clear note layout makes learning music theory simple, and as a result it makes branching out to other instruments easy.
Best for beginners. Establish solid foundational skills in sight-reading, hand technique, ear training, and music theory in the style of piano that's right for you: classical, contemporary, or jazz.

Our teachers are familiar with many of the popular music curriculums. If you already have books, we will continue using them until you're ready to advance to the next level.
Each child is different, but 6 years old is generally a safe age to begin private lessons. If you have a younger child but think they're ready, reach out to us: we'll assess and see how best to get them started.
